Customer Testimonials

It looks like the future earth will be slightly warmer due to a modest climate sensitivity to increased atmospheric CO2, a bit wetter overall, and much greener from the action of CO2 fertilization. This will be good for humanity as shown by detailed empirical studies of human mortality, in hundreds of communities around. in all countries and regions, minimum mortality is observed when temperatures are warmer than the median for that location. See, eg., Y. Guo et al, Global Variation in the Effects of Ambient Temperature on Mortality, Epidemiology, Vol. 25, No. 6, pp. 781-789 (2014).

This is such an interesting subject but it so unscientific in presentation. We know what temperature water freezes, we know what temperature it boils. We know the composition of all the elements. BUT WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE CORRECT TEMPERATURE THE EARTH SHOULD BE! Could we actual need global warming to get the earth to the proper temperature? This is like the days of the flat earth and the universe rotates around the earth. Those were scientific fact until people woke up and determined that scientists did not have a clue. Now Democrats are crying the sky is falling and non believers should be stoned. We have not come very far in either understanding of science and how the world operates to be able to jump to the wild conclusions of global warming. The only thing I can tell you is tomorrow somewhere in the world it will rain, be cloudy, be sunny, be snowing, be windy and/or be something but global warming it isn't going to be. The earth at the center of the universe was a religious belief, not a scientific assertion. It is/was science that has helped us move from myths and superstitions...we would be wise not to discount it. we would also be wise not to listen to highly educated liars. I am thinking of the hockey stick, the IPCC emails, the predictions of rising oceans that have not come true. Without experimental confirmation, it is not Science it is at best a hypothesis and at worst an unsupported opinion. That's wrong -- the science of the day confirmed that everything revolved around the Earth, with a few unexplained deviations. That was the working theory because common sense tells us the Earth isn't moving. Just look up for a day. Clearly the sun rises in the east, travels across the sky and sets in the west, while your vantage point does not appear to move. Religion developed around what people could best guess as their situation -- it was not that religion handed down the dictate that the solar system must revolve around us from out of the blue.

Read just a bit about Thorium and the reactors based around it. The authors of this article, with the assertions they make, obviously have no idea what is going on in the nuclear industry, much less what Thorium is. Whatever you are reading is wrong. I work with a South African company called Steenkampskraal Thorium 100 (www.stlthorium.com). The company is but a few years from having its fuel and reactor design approved for commercial use. Another authoritative source is Flibe Energy (flibe-energy.com) headed by Kirk Sorensen. Flibe and other companies are much closer to commercialization than is led to believe. Moreover, thorium-based reactor technology has not been commercialized because it presents almost no opportunity to create nuclear weapons (in addition to so few knowing what it is much less realizing its potential): the amount of time, effort, cost, and expertise that you would have to put into turning waste from a thorium reactor. (which is less than 1% of today's uranium-based reactors with a half-life of only a few hundred years) into a weapon does not make any sense on the backdrop of how much easier it is using plutonium waste from uranium reactors.
